The title should explain what I have been doing today and than some more. Yes, I have been focusing my attention primarily underground in my survival world today rather than continuing my transportation system. Getting tired of expanding the same build now, so I have left my transportation system be for the time being. I will continue that project later on, but for now I am focusing my attention on my underground mines which I have been carving out underneath my primary base.
Next to my tree farm, my mines are probably the biggest build I have in my survival world, though they were originall unintentional. Back when I first started playing Minecraft, I had no idea what I was doing, so what I did was I started hollowing out the mountain immediately close to where I established my first base (Which would go on to become my primary base of operation, which is still being used to this day). During the first 2weeks I harvested enough cobblestone to fill up five large chests, which i would later use to construct many of my first builds, though 90% of the cobblestone was invested directly into my tree farm, which unfortunately still remains to be completed. But yeah, things like that can happen sometimes. But hollowing out five chests of cobblestone from the same mine does leave quite some substantial space underneath my base, which would go on to make up the foundation for what is today my secondary mine, and also my biggest one. It is very difficult to comprehend the size of my mine as it stretches out for quite a bit, but I have in recent times started to dig my way down to LVL 11 in altitude. Progress has been slow due to other projects, but now I am focusing my attention here once again. My goal with this build is to make a massive hole in the ground, which I may one day expose to the light of day and put a massive glass cube on top of, though this latter part is highly unlikely as I do not have the required resources.
So yeah. Made some progress on my mine today. Not much else to post about though, other than some progress on my tree farm which I am starting to get really tired off :P.
I will continue to progress on my projects, and will post more updates as I go along so please do keep tuned for more :).
