Yes. It seems like Mojang have finally gone ahead and added some color to Minecraft. About time as well if you ask me, because it was getting rather boring to travel on my transportation network without anything but ocelots and the occassional pig to look at. But yeah, parrots in Minecraft, how shiny that will be. I have not actually loaded the game yet with Parrots in it because my world have been pretty much dormant and inactive for the past couple of days as I have been having a break from all video games. But yeah, it seems like parrots can only spawn in jungle biomes, fair enough, so I will probably make a quick visit to my old jungle base in the upcoming hours or days to pay a visit. Will be fun to see the jungle with an added bit of color. That is, if there are any colors. It seems like they have only relased the gray-yellow parrot for the time being judging by the snapshot release notes, but it is better then nothing that is for sure. Now all we have to do wait and see is if they make it so that ocelots will begin to start hunting for parrots, though that may be a bit too much for Minecraft I am sure.
But yeah. Will be fun to explore and see whether or not parrots makes any difference in the jungle biome. I am really hoping they will change my mind on connecting my jungle biome to my new transportation network, because it does look rather dark for the jungle biomes at the moment as I am seriously considering to bypass my jungle base. But if I were to connect it I would have to come up with a solution to my current expansion plans, as turning the whole thing around, connect it the jungle base, and then turn it around again and go all the way back, won't be an option.
For now though, I got my hands full with my most recent builds, which I will post updates about on this blog as I go along. Currently working on building a new walkway, which in the future will connect several new and updated greenhouses and farms to my base. My old farmlands is rather outdated as they are the ones I built back in early 2015, so it is only about time I am getting around to update my world with more updated designs and stuff like that. It will be fun indeed.
